I wish I could put into words the feelings I experience after being with certain beautiful souls. Gratitude comes to mind. I am very thankful for each person who crosses my path, no matter how long we walk together. Each one is a teacher onto me.

In yoga teacher training one of our required readings was the Bhagavad Gita, so I read it. But then my teacher said to read it a second time and read it as if I was Arjuna; the warrior leading his army into battlefield. Then she said to read it a third time as Krishna the charioteer.

Intentions are powerful. They are seeds for transformation and they fuel manifestation. In my yoga classes we begin by getting centered, checking in with the body, connecting with the breath and setting an intention for our practice. An intention is a word or phrase that you want more of. If you need more inner peace, self-love, or patience in your life an example might be just the word as you repeat it to yourself throughout your practice or you might say “I embody patience. One thing and ten minutes later you’ve thought of 30 different ideas problems etc. At one time I thought this multi-tasking brain was...

Today I want to talk about the silent eggshell catwalk I do around spirituality & yoga. You won’t catch me talking about this too much, because I try my best to stay professional and “politically” correct if you will.

I was raised Baptist but as I got older I always felt like the black sheep. I didn’t fit in and a lot of times was not included in certain things because of my lack of church attendance. I smoked cigarettes and drank socially and I even liked to dance. I also committed a big no-no and gave birth out of wedlock. All things that were looked down upon. With being the black sheep came a feeling of unworthiness for me, I wasn’t good enough because I didn’t attend church and I felt oh so judged for my lifestyle...
